Only Bratislava Regional Court judge Andrea Haitová, out the group of those who had their mobile phones seized by police in August in a corruption case, provided her version of events to the Judicial Council, Marcela Kosová, the head of the council's five-member committee responsible for the hearing, stated for the TASR press agency on Monday. She presented her opinion on the information published in the media regarding businessman Marian Kočner's alleged chats in which he negotiated favourable results in his court cases. TASR press agency reports that Haitová, who is the sister of Former Deputy Justice Minister Monika Jankovská, whose phone was also taken, is a witness in the case. "The Special Prosecutor's Office has already given us some information and Mrs. Haitová has also provided some documents," stated Kosová, adding that once the commission has at its disposal all materials, it will have a session to determine what advice to give the Judicial Council.
