Two Hungarian Parties - Junior Governing Most-Híd and non-Parliamentary Hungarian coalition (SMK) agreed on their cooperation in the upcoming general election set to take place in February or March 2020. In recent months, both parties have been scoring under than 5% in election polls, which is the limit for making it into Parliament. They decided to join forces with the smaller Hungarian Christian-Democratic alliance and run on this party's slate. They thus avoided forming a coalition, which would increase the limit necessary for making it into Parliament to 7%. As part of the agreement, leaders of both major Hungarian parties - Béla Bugár (Most-Híd) and József Menyhárt (SMK) will not be listed among the first 10 candidates on the slate.
