Collective talks between Jaguar Land Rover and the company trade union were concluded with the clinching of a deal on Wednesday, TASR learnt from union head Peter Mrázik on the same day. The collective bargaining began at the Nitra-based car production facility on September 5. The unions demanded an overhaul of the remuneration system and salary hikes of 15 percent as well as bonuses for overtime work, weekend and holiday work and higher-risk work that go beyond those laid down by law. "We didn't manage to negotiate 15 percent, but in light of current Jaguar sales and the latest news from the automobile industry in Slovakia, we concluded a good deal," said Mrázik.
