About a hundred protesters, including Ukrainian students, gathered in front of the Russian embassy in Bratislava on Monday and signed an appeal to Russian President Vladimir Putin calling on him to withdraw Russian troops from Crimea, the territory belonging to the sovereign state of Ukraine.
They regard the recent actions of the Russian Federation’s Army as a violation of the UN Charter. Protesters also criticised the response of the Slovak Government, which according to them has been insufficient.
