A falling tree due to strong winds killed a 14-year-old boy and wounded two other children in the town of Nitra on Monday. The tragedy happened on a cycling path along the riverbank, behind a football stadium situated below the Zobor hill, where pupils of an elementary school were on a walk. The children were freed by firefighters after being trapped under the tree. The two wounded children were transported to the hospital and are reportedly in stable condition.
