The Slovak tennis player Dominika Cibulková beat American Christina McHale in the final of the Mexican Open in Acapulco in three sets. The top-seeded Cibulková, runner-up in the Australian Open in January, won her fourth career title.
“It was tough match, I'm really tired, I had to dig deep physically and mentally”, Cibulková said. Thanks to the victory in Mexico, Dominika Cibulková will rise to a career-high no. 11 in the WTA rankings.
