The team looking into the murder of journalist Ján Kuciak and his fiancée Martina Kušnirová announced on Monday that they have finished investigating the case, giving the defence a period of five days, starting on September 30, to acquaint itself with the results of the investigation. Both Marek Para - lawyer for Marian Kočner, who's been charged with ordering the murder - and Daniel Lipšic, lawyer for the Kuciak family, have confirmed this. Now both sides may propose extra evidence be taken into account, after which the prosecutor will prepare the case to be sent to court. Most probably this will happen in autumn. Ján Kuciak and his fiancée Martina Kušnírová were murdered in their home in Veľká Mača in February of last year. Prior to the murder Kuciak had reported extensively on Kočner's dodgy business deals.
