Zuzana Čaputová, the Slovak President elected this spring is the most trusted politician in Slovakia, indicates a survey carried out by the Focus agency on behalf of TV station Markíza. The President with 56% was followed by Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini (Smer-SD) with 46% and former President Andrej Kiska, scoring 32% came third. They were followed by Independent MP and Together leader Miroslav Beblavý (30%), We Are Family head Boris Kollár (29%), Freedom and Solidarity head Richard Sulík (28%) and Good Choice head and former Interior and Health Minister Tomáš Drucker (27%).
The two politicians who are trusted the least from the list of 15 public figures were Supreme Court judge and unsuccessful presidential candidate Štefan Harabin and chair of the junior governing Most-Híd party Béla Bugár. The survey was carried out on a sample of 1,027 respondents in mid-September.
