Representatives of Radio and Television of Slovakia (RTVS) and Czech Radio signed an agreement on Tuesday to extend their cooperation for another three years. The agreement includes the exchange of radio, literary and discussion programs, as well as a joint concert organised for young listeners each year, and the use of their foreign correspondents to cover events abroad. "I think it is important for Czech listeners, especially the younger generation, to hear Slovak in our broadcasts, and we should not forget our common history and cultural heritage," stated Czech Radio CEO René Zavoral.
