Slovakia part of European Mobility Week

Fifty-five Slovak municipalities are taking part in the Slovak portion of European Mobility Week starting on Monday September 16, with this year's topic being "Safely on bikes and on foot". The aim of the initiative is to persuade people to choose active ways of transportation such as walking or cycling. European Mobility Week takes place under the auspices of the European Commission every year in September, with the aim of encouraging local governments to introduce and support sustainable urban mobility measures.
