Slovaks ignorant of foreigners in their country

70.8 percent of Slovaks do not think that foreigners could bring any benefits to Slovakia, according to a survey released by the Milan Šimečka foundation released on Thursday. More than half of respondents do not know how many foreigners live in Slovakia. According to the Interior Ministry's data at the end of June, there were 130 418 foreigners living in Slovakia. The 14^th edition of the multi-genre festival [fjúžn] will bring in the week between 12^th and 21^st September, once again the opportunity to get to know foreigners living here. The [fjúžn] festival is the only festival focusing on the issues of migration and the integration of foreigners and new minorities. The festival features a wide range of events from concerts, dancing performances, movie screenings and theatre performances to panel discussions and other non-formal gatherings, presentations and events. The theme of this year's festival is IDENTITIES.
