This morning (28 February) the presidential election campaign officially opened. According to the new election law it should start 15 days before, and finish 48 hours before the start of the vote.
The respective campaigns of the candidates are forbidden to campaign outside of this period. Nevertheless, even before this period opened candidates have been plying their campaign over billboards, as well as meeting with citizens, which are things not covered by law.
