The President of the Slovak Olympic and Sports Committee Anton Siekel signed and submitted the Slovak application for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics on Wednesday. Because of the environmental measures enforced in Japan, the application has been submitted electronically for the first time. Anton Siekel has just returned from a control trip to Tokyo and he praises the preparations for this celebration of sport. "Since my first visit I have noticed a huge leap forward. We didn't notice any serious deficiencies in the preparations," commented Siekel.
