The Judicial Council did not elect a new chairman of the Slovak Supreme Court at its extraordinary session on Monday. Neither Jana Bajánková nor Soňa Mesiarkinová received an absolute majority of votes from the 18 members of the Council. The Judicial Council will now decide on the new Slovak Supreme Court chairman in late October at the earliest.
