The Opposition Freedom and Solidarity party, as well as the MPs Alan Suchánek and Igor Janckulík (both Independent), are not reluctant to discuss the issue of the Slovak health sector's reform, wrote the TASR press agency on Monday. The Health Minister Andrea Kalavská said she wants to meet all representatives of the political spectrum in the week starting on September 16 to convince them of the need to reform the health system, after the government failed to approve it in August. As part of the hospitals' reform, the so-called stratification, a network of 46 optimally-distributed hospitals with guaranteed funding from health insurance companies should be created in Slovakia. The hospitals should be divided into three categories.
