Slovak President Zuzana Čaputová set off by train for Vienna on Friday to meet her Austrian counterpart President Alexander Van der Bellen and the Austrian Chancellor Brigitte Bierlein. Čaputová is also set to visit the Albertina museum in Vienna and meet the staff of the Slovak Embassy there, as well as Slovakia's permanent missions to the United Nations and the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe. The Slovak president, who was inaugurated in mid-June, has already visited the Czech Republic, Belgium, Hungary, Poland, France, Switzerland and Germany. The distance between the central rail stations of Bratislava and Vienna is a mere 66 kilometres.
