The hospital in Humenne managed by the private company Svet Zdravia started the reconstruction of its premises during the summer. It plans to merge some of its wards and procure modern medical diagnostic devices and new medical equipment. It will finance this from a non-refundable financial contribution from EU funds; the investment, including the hospital's co-participation, will amount to €3.5 million.
