Slovakia will hit a record in growth of current expenses this year. They are expected to rise by 5.6%. This will be the highest increase among the EU states, shows a prognosis by the European Commission. Two reasons are behind the record growth.
The first is the ESO reform of the public administration from the workroom of Interior Minister Robert Kaliňák. It seems the Slovak Government has greater expectations from these changes than Brussels. The second are the savings expected from a more efficient performance of hospitals.
