The registered unemployment rate in Slovakia at the end of July stayed at the level of 4.97 percent, according to the Slovak Labor Office. At the end of July, labor offices registered 136,973 jobseekers able to take up a job immediately. Monthly drops in unemployment rates were registered in four regions, most notably in the Kosice region. Conversely, four regions saw increases in their monthly unemployment rates, with the steepest growth seen in the Bratislava region.
