Inflation reached 2.9 percent in July, the Slovak Statistics Office reported on Tuesday. Inflation was driven up by a 5 percent increase in the price of postal services, a 4.7 percent increase in food and non-alcoholic beverage prices and a 3.8 percent hike in those of accommodation and utilities.
