State and public administration authorities still have more to do in terms of electronic communications. The Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for Investments and Informatization came to this conclusion on the basis of its inspections focused on compliance with the e-Government Act launched in April this year. According to the Office, the authorities do not use a mandate certificate or electronic seal to authorize official documents, nor do they use a time stamp and create documents as electronic forms. They should thus carry on with the inspections in order to continue explaining where the authorities are making a mistake and to show them that electronic communication does not only bring benefits to citizens but also streamlines their work.
