Inflation, as measured by the European Union methodology, was zero percent in January. The strongest annual price growths in the first month of this year were in education up by 5.4 percent, followed by prices of alcoholic beverages and tobacco by 2.5 percent.
On the other hand, prices fell the most for housing, water, electricity, and gas by 1.6 percent.
