The ninth Slovak International Air Fest (SIAF) taking place last week in Sliač attracted about 107,000 visitors, said Zdenka Marhefková of the SIAF media team. The Slovak airforce, which has recently undergone modernisation, pulled off a performance with Spartan tactical transport aircraft, L-39 Albatros, MiG 29 jet fighters and an air display by a UH 60 Black Hawk helicopter. As well as Slovakia, another twelve NATO states participated in the event, with 60 aircraft on the ground and in the air and 52 aerobatic displays, as well as the Italian aerobatic Frecce Tricolori group.
