Former Ghana national football team captain John Mensah will most probably play for the Slovak premier league club FC Nitra, according to the Sme daily.
He currently plays for Asante Kotoko in Ghana but has behind a rich international career that includes contracts with Olympique Lyon, Stade Rennes and Sunderland. He led Ghana to the quarter-finals of the World Cup in 2010 in South Africa when he missed a penalty kick in a shoot-out against Uruguay, in which his country eventually lost 2-4.
