A team of Slovak high-school students took second place in the international competition CASTIC in China. The innovation, science and technology competition is organized for students aged 12 to 20. Two Slovak students, Richard Maguľák and Viliam Podhajecký won the second place in the Mechanics and Electricity category, as they successfully presented before an expert committee their project of a Radio-controlled Toy Car. Both students attend the Secondary School of Electrical Engineering in Košice, and they also won the Slovak scientific competition AMAVET Festival of Science and Technology, which annually takes place at the beginning of November.
