No visas for short-term visits to UK after Brexit

According to the Slovak Foreign Ministry, Europeans who wish to visit the UK after Brexit, for a stay of less than three months, should not need to obtain a visa. Only a valid ID card or passport will be needed to enter the UK. The ministry pointed out, however, that the currently expected conditions may change in the future, so it will be important to monitor any amendments or additions that may come about. The European Commission has proposed that UK citizens after Brexit should also be exempted from visas in the event of short-term stays in EU countries. However, they will no longer be able to benefit from the simplified procedures used by EU citizens at the EU's external borders and will not be able to join separate EU corridors, the ministry stressed.
