The current situation in the European Union and Slovak-French bilateral relations and further cooperation are the main topics which Slovak President Zuzana Čaputová should discuss during her visit to France with her French counterpart Emmanuel Macron. Moreover, the presidents should also talk about the current situation within the Visegrad four countries formation (Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia).
As part of her two day visit to France, Čaputová should also lay a wreath in front of the Parisian music club Bataclan, where 90 people died in 2015 during a terrorist attack and also by the statue of Slovak diplomat Milan Rastislav Štefánik, who was a member of the French army in WWI.
