Young Slovak mathematicians returned from this year's International Olympics with four medals. Michal Staník won a silver medal while Martin Melicher, Matej Urban and Dávid Pásztor received a bronze medal each. Slovak students Jonáš Dujava and Ronald Doboš won two silver medals at this year's International Physics Olympics. Róbert Jurčo added a bronze medal to the collection of the Slovak delegation.
