Cancelling tender for military airports radars

The Defense Ministry cancelled the tender for selecting the supplier of the radars for military airports after excluding the only bidder - the Czech company Eldis Pardubice - from the tender due to missing documents. The company offered radars for 23.88 million euros, including the initial logistics support. Last year, the Ministry labelled this bid as the most favourable. Slovakia planned to buy three air defence radar sets which would replace the systems that have been in use since the 1980s. A spokesperson for the ministry, Danka Capakova, informed that the tender would be announced again.
