President interested in Hungarian minority activities

"Gombasek is an important symbol for the Hungarian community and it is important that it maintains its ideological independence, which it has always sought to have," stated on her social network profile the Slovak President Zuzana Čaputová. On Wednesday, she visited the Gombasek summer camp, which is a multi-genre festival and an open summer university, annually organized by young Hungarians from Slovakia. Its history stretches all the way back to 1928. The president added in her post that she is interested in and supportive of the activities of the Hungarian community living in Slovakia.
