Slovak Parliament has approved 358 laws since General Election

Slovak MPs have approved 358 laws since the general election, which took place in March 2016, wrote the TASR press agency on Tuesday. Parliament has greenlighted 268 suggestions from the Government, 89 from MPs and a single one from a parliamentary committee. So far 22 laws were adopted in fast-track proceedings. Ex-president Andrej Kiska vetoed 29 laws and his veto was not broken only in one case. In total, MPs have held 46 sessions, out of which 17 were unplanned.
