On Wednesday evening, a match of the first round of the Champions League qualification between Slovan Bratislava and the Montenegro team Sutjeska Nikšič was played in Bratislava. The match ended up in a tie, when Sutjeska Nikšič scored a goal in the last minute. Despite the increased security measures in the wider surroundings of the football stadium and in the city center, the fight occurred on the Ventúrska street among fans of Cracovia Krakow and Levski Sofia, who came to support their teams who are playing on Thursday against Dunajská Streda and Ružomberok. Dutch hooligans from Ajax Amsterdam were also present. According to Bratislava mayor Matúš Vallo, police should have been responsible for preventing such a situation from happening.
