A more educated Slovakia, the modernisation of democracy, independent police and improving the Slovak health-care sector - these are the top priorities that the extra-parliamentary Spolu (Together) party would focus on if part of the future government after next spring's elections. On Monday, party officials presented ten basic priorities that should serve as a programme basis in talks with the Progresivne Slovensko (Progressive Slovakia) party. These include a green country, strong regions, a fair economy and a pro-European foreign policy. They want to discuss priorities with former President Andrej Kiska's emerging For the People party as well. Cooperation with the extra-parliamentary Christian Democratic Movement (KDH) as well as the parliamentary Freedom and Solidarity (SaS) party are also on the agenda.
