Parliamentary chair visits Russia to foster closer ties

Parliamentary Chair Andrej Danko on Sunday left for a working visit to Russia, where he'll attend a plenary session of the 'Developing Parliamentarianism' international forum in Moscow and visit the Republic of Tatarstan. Danko's itinerary is scheduled to begin on Monday 1 July with a meeting with his Armenian counterpart Ararat Mirzoyan. The Slovak delegation includes around 20 entrepreneurs, who will attend a Slovak-Russian business forum. The visit is aimed at fomenting trade ties and signing memorandums on cooperation. Danko visited Russia most recently in early May, and has stated in the past that politicians should establish any ties that are beneficial to Slovakia and keep its doors open to both East and West.
