Following the tradition that the first foreign visit of the Slovak head of state is directed to the western neighbors, Slovak President Zuzana Čaputová is visiting Prague on Thursday. "I see the Czech Republic as our brother nation and I respect President Miloš Zeman as the legitimately-elected Czech president," said Zuzana Čaputová to Czech journalists before her visit. Many Czechs came to see Čaputová before her meeting with president Zeman at the Prague castle. The crowds gathered there were chanting "Long live Slovakia." Besides meeting with the Czech president, Čaputová is holding a meeting with the chairs of both chambers of the Czech Parliament, visiting the grave of Václav Havel and meeting Slovak compatriots living in Prague.
