Five OLaNO party MPs - Veronika Remišová, Elena Červeňáková, Soňa Gaborčáková, Anna Verešová and Jozef Lukáč - won't run on the party's slate in the 2020 general election, Remišová stated on Tuesday. She added that she's also stepping down as OLaNO caucus chair. One of the reasons the MPs stated for the move was that the 8-year old party has not managed to incorporate people from the various Slovak regions in its activities, leaving them with no say in decision-making. They also criticised the party for not allowing its own MPs and new people in the party to become full members. The five said they will end their cooperation with OLaNO at the beginning of the campaign for the 2020 general election. Remišová has yet to address the question of her future in politics, but rumour has it that she might be joining the new For the People party of outgoing president Andrej Kiska.
