The time is ripe for management positions in the Police Corps to be occupied by capable people who know what they want and possess the leadership skills needed to help groups achieve their missions, Police Corps President Milan Lučanský stated on Monday in a video posted on social media. His aim is to drive out nepotism and cronyism and to give young officers the hope that even they can occupy senior positions. The Police Chief wants to increase the wages of police officers and offer them a clear career growth path in order to reduce staff fluctuation.
