This week, Slovakia will experience many tropical days in a row, informs the Slovak Hydrometeorogical Institute. From Monday to Wednesday, temperatures should rise to up to 33°C, on Thursday and Friday it should be up to 34°C. So far the institute has issued a first degree warning for districts in southern Slovakia for Monday and Tuesday. The Slovak Public Health Authority warns that in order to avoid problems, people should drink enough water, that is three litres for an adult person of beverages containing no sugar, caffeine, quinine or alcohol. "It is necessary to drink even when you do not feel thirsty," reminds the Authority.
