Newly elected MEP Peter Pollak of OLaNO will join the European People's Party faction, the largest political organisation in the European Parliament, where he intends to get busy with reducing regional disparities between EU members and improving access to education and services for all people, according to TASR press agency. "The issue of children's education is important for me , particularly those from disadvantaged communities. In this context, the EU can help a lot more and with greater efficiency," said Pollak, himself a Roma from a disadvantaged background.
