The Ministry of Defence has announced an international tender to buy multi-purpose 4x4 tactical vehicles for the Slovak Army, according to ministry spokesperson Danka Capaková. The ministry intends to procure in this way 424 vehicles at a maximum price of €321 million excluding VAT. The total number of vehicles (424) also includes an option for 20 pieces for the Interior Ministry. A framework agreement for the period of ten years is a part of the tender. This will include supplies of spare parts, mobile summer and winter masking, as well as the fulfilment of additional needs caused by a crisis.
