Opposition Social Democratic and Christian Union (SDKU-DS) will be led to the elections for the European Parliament by its Deputy Chairman Ivan Štefanec. In Saturday’s primary elections within the party, he defeated his only opponent MEP Eduard Kukan.
The Party of the Hungarian Community (SMK) will be led into the EU elections by former SMK Chairman and former Deputy Prime Minister Pál Csáky. The vote will take place on May 24 in Slovakia.
