After Michal Kučera was refused as a candidate for the post of additional judge of the General Court of the European Union, Slovak Justice Minister Gábor Gál voiced his opinion that this decision was not transparent. Gál expressed doubts as to whether Slovakia is being discriminated against or not. Kučera was the fourth Slovak candidate refused for the post of additional judge of the General Court of the EU. So far, Minister Gál has not informed whether Slovakia will insist on Kučera's further candidacy.
