Most of Slovaks wish current PM Peter Pellegrini to be Prime Minister even after the upcoming parliamentary elections in March 2020, indicate results of a survey conducted by the Focus agency for TV Markíza. Pellegrini earned trust of almost 15% of respondents followed by three politicians with almost 7%. Marián Kotleba, head of far right Kotleba People's party our Slovakia, Richard Sulík, chair of opposition Freedom and Solidarity party and chair of the largest governing Smer-SD party Robert Fico, who left the post last year after the murder of investigative journalist Ján Kuciak and his fiancée Martina Kušnírová. President Andrej Kiska was at the seventh place with 3.4%. Chairs of the coalition Progressive Slovakia-Together, which won the European Parliament elections Michal Truban and Miroslav Beblavý were at the 11th and 12th place respectively with little over 1%.
