Weekend of open parks and gardens

It will be possible to enter inaccessible parks and gardens all across Slovakia over the 11^th Weekend of open parks and gardens. The central theme of this year event is "The Garden and its animals". The event organised by the National Trust Slovakia is part of an international initiative including 19 European countries. Its main goal is to pinpoint the beauty of parks and gardens and the need to maintain and protect them. It will be possible to see not only venues that are usually closed to the public such as the garden of the Russian Embassy in Bratislava but also to visit the permaculture gardens of private owners.
