Central European start-ups present themselves in the Netherlands

The third annual presentation of start-up projects from the Visegrad Four (V4) countries (the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia) in the Netherlands was organised by the Slovak embassy in the Hague. The event, attended by investors, diplomats and representatives of the Dutch state administration, hosted a record-breaking participation by 23 innovative start-ups from the information and communication technology (ICT) sector from Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and for the first time from the Netherlands. According to the Slovak Ambassador to the Netherlands, Roman Buzek, Slovakia and other V4 countries have an enormous potential, which is still largely unused, therefore an event like this should make it easier for Slovak and Central European talents to access foreign capital. The overall winner of the event comes from the Czech Republic and deals with cyber security issues.
