For the additional €200 million which the Transport Ministry negotiated beyond the scope of the approved budget, about 130 kilometers of first category roads can be repaired or reconstructed in each of the following four years. "I am pleased that my successor will be in a simpler situation in the coming years because we have agreed with the Finance Ministry on additional resources outside the allocated budget to improve the quality of first category roads, which account for about half of the overall transport performance," said Transport Minister Arpád Érsek.
