The current restrictions against the Chinese company Huawei as proposed by the US administration should not have an impact on the offer of Slovak phone operators. They claim in unison that they are following the situation closely; however, based on the current information, the measures of the US government will not affect the sold or currently offered devices from the world's second largest smartphone manufacturer. "At this moment, our stance towards Huawei as a supplier is not changing. According to the available information, Google's decision should only concern the new models presented, therefore the current users of Huawei models should not be affected by the measures," stated for SITA news agency Michal Korec of Slovak Telekom.
