Slovakia played its last match of the tournament on Tuesday afternoon, when the Slovak hockey team faced Denmark. After a tied result, the winner emerged after a penalty shootout, which ended better for Slovakia. The team not only said farewell to the championship, but also to one of its key players. Ladislav Nagy ended his career on his home ice in Košice, cheered by a standing ovation.
