On Sunday, Slovak road cyclist Peter Sagan won the first stage of this year's Tour of California. He crossed the finish line ahead of American Travis McCabe and German Max Walscheid. The 29-year-old Slovak thus earned his 17th stage victory from the race, in which he is competing for the 10th time.
