Finns win after a nerve-wracking battle

In their second match of the 2019 Ice Hockey World Championship, Slovakia lost to Finland 2:4. Both teams met after having won their first match and thus were motivated to show off in front of the sold-out arena in Košice. The match was tied until the third period 2:2 when the young rising star of the Finnish team, Kaapo Kakko scored 2 goals in addition to his goal from the first period. Erik Černák and Martin Marinčin scored goals for Slovakia. The home team meets Canada in the next match on Monday.
